My new kitchen features almost the exact elements as the kitchen above. Farmhouse sink, Waterworks gooseneck faucet, white cabinets. All the classic elements one could ask for, which is great and at the same time a tad sterile. I am really liking the idea of painting the inside of the cabinets a nice medium greyish/blue. BUT, I am not about to wreck the nice interiors of the cabinets...so easy solution? Contact paper. Inexpensive, glossy and easy to apply it comes in just about any color you could ever want. Blue is calming and serene, unlike red and yellow, which your mind can associate with being hungry (not so good in a kitchen I would think?) Let's see if its a winning idea. I'll keep ya posted.
